OUR MISSION & VISSION

How a Citus engagement actually runs

Outsourcing goes wrong in predictable ways - an unclear scope, a transition that drops things, work that comes back needing to be redone, and a provider you can only reach by email. Here is how we've built the engagement to avoid each of those.

Scoping - we write Down exactly what we own

Every engagement starts with a scope document listing each deliverable, its frequency, the input we need from you, the date we need it by, the date we deliver by, and who owns it on both sides. If it isn't on that list, it isn't in the fee - and we'd rather argue about it in week one than in month six.

Access And Data:

portal credentials, ledger access, prior year filings, opening balances, statutory registers, bank and vendor master data.

Process Capture:

we document how the work is done today, including the undocumented bits your outgoing person carries in their head.

Health Check:

we review the last 12 months of filings and reconciliations and give you a written list of anything open, missing or wrong. This is free, and clients often say it is the most useful thing we do all year.

Calendar Build:

A dated compliance calendar for the full financial year.

Parallel Run:

We run the first cycle alongside your existing process.

Delivery - Four Eyes On Everything

Preparer Reviewer Sign-Off

The preparer is a trained accountant or compliance executive. The reviewer is a qualified Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary. Nothing goes to a government portal or to your board on one person's say-so.

Governance - Reported, Not Assumed

Every month you receive a one-page status report: what was delivered, on what date, against what due date; what is open and why; what is coming in the next 30 days; anything that needs a decision from you.
